pray

Some of you are aware of our current situation. The owners of the house we were to move into in July (lease agreements signed, money exchanged), have decided they want to stay. Two weeks ago he was diagnosed w/ cancer and also lost his military tour to Italy. He is fine now and healthy...doctors removed the localized skin cancer, but they want to break our lease agreement and now we are in a huge dilemma. We are frantically trying to find another house in the same area, for similar pricing etc. Please pray for us; we want what God wants. I have only stated less than half of this entire situation, and what it could cost us, from our housing goods still in storage to school issues. Thank you for your prayers:)

First and Last Day of School

Just thought these pictures were funny. This is the first day of school, fall of 2007 and Wilson of course is thrilled. No pictures of Noah....he's up and out the door before 7am and there isn't a camera w/in reach that early:(

Of course the 2nd and 3rd pictures are crazy silly, and they are so excited for summer break.

Big hair changes for Wilson and Lucy. Wilson wants to grow out his hair like the new 70's style (were trying to work that out as you can see) and Lucy got bangs. She was so excited! Daddy took her to get her hair cut, and for the next week all she could talk about was how no one could recognize her b/c she had bangs now. How funny, b/c she looks so different-Not. :)

Bug and Snake

How funny it's my girls outside holding a firefly and a harmless grass snake. Not my boys. In fact Noah (my eldest) wouldn't come near this snake and hid inside the house. His famous quote "I don't do bugs" when we've ask him to kill a insect that has invaded the home still makes me laugh.
Lucy informed me today that when she was four, she caught a toad and kissed him on the lips and she has never even had a wart in her life! I asked her to please not do that again:) Yuck!

Birthday Bash

So, I can't believe this was just 3 weeks ago, but I had the crazy idea of throwing a huge birthday party for my kids before we moved. (to see class friends, old friends and to say goodbye to neighbor friends) It turned out to be 5 days before closing and the day after our garage sale.....and to really stress myself out, I planned the parties on the same day. A girls birthday party from 1-3pm and the boys from 4-6:30pm. (my kids all have summer birthdays, so I can get away w/ this)

So we rented this 20ft water slide for the day and the kids had a blast!!! It really was fun....sorry no picture of me sliding down, but I did:)

Goodbye old home

Thought I would play "catch up" w/ old photos during our interim period. This is our old home....the one my kids have grown up in....we closed on April 30th and as I said before, embarking on a new adventure to Seattle. Wish I could show you a picture of our new home...but will post that in the future.

Getting Started

My sweet friend Charissa got me started on developing this blog today...and so b/c we are in transition during our move I am only able to show pictures of us in the archives of my computer. This is my husband Daniel and I at a Spurs game in San Antonio....yes we were very disappointed that the Lakers eliminated the Spurs in the West Finals:(

My daughters Lucy and Annie-Grace. Lucy is almost 9 years old and Annie-Grace almost 7.
