I'm Kirsten, married to my sweet husband Daniel and the mother of four amazing kids: Noah, Wilson, Lucy and Annie-Grace. I started this blog to keep in touch with friends and family as we embark on a new adventure in moving to Seattle, WA.. We will miss our home and friends from Oklahoma but we want to keep in touch and hope this blog will help.

Happy Birthday Dad!
My dad is 64 years young today.
Dad, just wanted to tell you how much I love you, you've been and are a wonderful father. I've learned many, many wonderful things being your daughter. Your wisdom is bounding and your love for our Jesus is inspiring. I hope you have a wonderful, special day....wish I could be there to celebrate and honor you.
Love Kirie:)

Advanced
Annie-Grace has been taking gymnastics lessons the last couple of months. She's really improved and has moved up to advanced level as of yesterday. She was so very proud of herself. Please understand, she is definitely not doing round off back handsprings or anything like that....but has mastered a very pretty cartwheel, round-off and her favorite is the balance beam. So, for Christmas, Daniel bought some wood, got the exact dimensions, went over to a friends house who has a saw and whatever else he would need, and he built her a beam. She gets lots of practice now, and has just informed me as I write this that beam is too easy now, and bars are her favorite. Great. I am not putting the parallel bars in my mud room. Don't even think about it! :)

Happy New Year!
Meet the new member of the Donohue's. This is Fluffy Knuckles. She is Lucy's kitten she got for Christmas. Lucy really, really wanted a puppy, however, we did not need something else to potty train (I'm done w/ that). Cats tend to be easier that way....so thus a kitten was given. As you can see, she's adjusted well to any disappointment of not getting a dog. Thank goodness!
